Wedding Date:
January 6, 2001 (12th Night)
St. Elizabeth's Orphanage Chapel
6 pm

THE SAGA CONTINUES

The wedding didn't actually start till about 6:15 because Chris and all his Groomsmen got stuck in the elevator.

One of my bridesmaids, Grace Anne, was in a car wreck the day of the wedding. Someone rear-ended her at a stop light. She was not injured, but had to wait for the police for hours and barely had time to get ready at the chapel.

In the end, everything worked out beautifully. The ceremony could not have been any better!! Our celebrant did a spectacular job!! Thanks to Rev. Jeffrey Eernisse it was a truly magical ceremony.

When it got to the part of Lauren singing "Ava Maria", I think everyone cried, including the flowergirls. Lauron's voice was hauntingly beautiful!! I've known her sense she was a little girl when I taught art class to her while I was in college. During the song, I finally had the chance to look at the crowd and realized that everyone had come in costume!! It was amazing!!

Unfortunately, Rev. Eernisse did not get to stay and enjoy the reception. He had to return to Houston that night so he would be back in time to do a service the next morning. You missed a great party Jeffrey!! I wish you could have seen it!!
