Masquerade Ball invites where handed out by the ushers when people were seated at the Chapel. The wording on these invites are based on Tableaux Ball invites from the turn of the century. The "Stricktly Personal" part was put on them to remind people that the Mardi Gras Ball was a private function and that their admitance card was an "invite" and not a "ticket".
